Service 1: Garden Advice
- Schedule a visit with me to walk through your garden and we’ll discover the potential of your garden.
- A questionnaire will help you to find out how you would like to develop your garden and what changes you would like to make.
- If you don’t know what shrubs, herbaceous, trees you have, I can help you to identify them.
- If you need help finding the right place for your just purchased plants from the garden center, I’ll help you to find the right spot and shall advise you on the care and maintenance.
- I offer to accompany to visit a local garden center where we can meet up and I can help to find the right plants for your garden.
For new planting schemes I usually use local nurseries which stock a wide range of herbaceous, deciduous and evergreens, however they don’t allow clients visits.
Service 2: Soft Landscaping - Border Design Services
- Survey of your garden and input in CAD Software
- Concept & Design of new flowerbeds / borders and/or adjusting their shape for better visual impact. Mood-focused color selection. Composition of soft landscaping elements like lawn shapes, selection of plants (trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants, bulbs) in a visually appealing way according to the desired garden style.
- Creation of planting plans after brief from client ( based on a questionnaire), sourcing and implementation (cottage garden style, naturalistic garden style, country garden style, Mediterranean garden style, productive allotment, rock garden style.
- Bulb planting plan (new) for selection, sourcing, planting and aftercare or advice only.
- Interest throughout the year
Service 3: Garden Maintenance Service
to improve the visual impact and performance of your garden plants – weekly and fortnightly visits for 2 to 4 hours/per visit for medium and large gardens.
- Keeping your flowerbeds and borders in very good condition
- Lifting, dividing, and moving of shrubs, herbaceous plants etc. to a more suitable location (right plant for the right place)
- Fertilising your plants with the appropriate fertilizer at the right time of the year
- Mulching with multi-purpose compost, bark or wood chips where applicable.
- Specialist pruning (renovative pruning incl. training of apple, pear tree training forms like espaliers, fans, step-overs, and maintenance pruning of topiary shrubs/trees)
- Organic treatments against pest & diseases including application of companion planting and garden care tips
We offer an initial free visit for a brief discussion & assessment of the possibilities to redesign, rejuvenate and/or maintain your medium to large garden.
